The Truth About Entrepreneurship!
I wanted to share how grateful I am to be on this full-time entrepreneurial journey, but also the sacrifices and delayed gratification that comes with it. It’s not as luxurious as they make it seem on social media.
I don't have the most luxurious lifestyle, the most expensive car, or frequent weekend overseas trips. And I refuse to act like someone I'm not or pretend to have something I don't. I am where I am supposed to be, and I won't despise small beginnings.
Here are a few things that some people don’t share about entrepreneurship:
1. Although I have a lot of flexibility→ I need to make sure that I am even more disciplined and have more self-control than ever before.
2. Although the sky's the limit → It’s easy to feel like I am behind and that there is so much to do.
3. Although I can get paid way more per hour than I did at my 9-5 → Money can be inconsistent at first, and then you might get paid 30–60 days later.
4. Although I am my own boss → I have to make sure that I stay focus, take away distractions and listen to what God wants me to do.
This is a wild journey, but I wouldn't exchange it for anything! I won't lie, it can be difficult at times. But I am extremely grateful for this experience and for God blessing me to be debt-free so that I don't have to worry about money and can instead focus on my mission!
